“As long as you keep secrets and suppress information, you are fundamentally at war with yourself... Ignorning inner reality also eats away at your sense of self, identity and purpose... The critical issue is to allow yourself to know what you know. That takes an enormous amount of courage."

Bodywork by Jillian

"Jillian's approach has also demonstrated to me the kind of safety that comes from a commitment to collaboration....I recommend her wholeheartedly.” - A.S.

So much more than a massage. Jillian has been formally trained and influenced by Julian Walker's Open Sky Bodywork. She has also assisted several of Julian's bodywork trainings in Santa Monica, California. You can learn more about this technique here: http://julianwalkeryoga.com/open-sky-bodywork/. Jillian’s approach is compassionate, trauma sensitive and informed by Alexander and Linklater voice and movement techniques.

Sessions are two hours. They include access to a private, outdoor salt water tub and the Inframat Pro. The Inframat Pro is an infrared topper to the traditional massage table that allows for deeper wellness absorption. This tool has no EMFs and is great for chronic pain, fibromyalgia, speed of recovery and more. You can read more about this new addition here.

Jillian is now seeing clients in her indoor/outdoor Mount Washington Studio. The new space is magical— covered in lush greens, the sounds of birds and gorgeous Rainbow Canyon views.

“After one session, a chronic heaviness in my heart eased. A persistent ‘stuckness’ was replaced by a palpable energy flow. My partner commented that I felt ‘lighter,’ and I agreed. Working with Jillian has facilitated a deeper understanding of my own embodiment on a holistic level and each session I come away with a new toolkit to support myself somatically. It has made me feel less alone in my body, and has empowered me to know that I can find safety for myself.

Her approach has also demonstrated to me the kind of safety that comes from a commitment to collaboration. I have practitioner related trauma and find starting work with new folks almost prohibitively challenging. Working together in her collaborative approach has been a paradigm shift for me. Respect, reciprocity, integrity, trust - she truly meets you where you are at and begins a conversation there - both verbally and somatically. On top of being a skilled bodyworker, she is a great listener and a great communicator. The safety I have found from her approach is something I will carry with me even after our work together ends.

I feel lucky to have connected with Jillian and I recommend her wholeheartedly.”

“Jillian is someone who has held space for me for years; she takes bodywork to an intimate, sacred, and defenseless level. She helps release stuck emotions and energy trapped in the body in a safe and gentle way. By addressing the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and emotions, Jillian’s bodywork sessions offer a comprehensive approach to recovery that fosters a deeper sense of self and profound healing. I could not recommend this experience enough.”

Jillian is a phenomenally talented and compassionate healer. I’ve had only two sessions with her so far and they have already had a profound impact on me. I was feeling stuck and stagnant in my life when I first went to see Jillian. She sat with me for the first half hour of our session and listened intently to what was weighing on me. She was completely present with me, and I never felt judged or misunderstood. She used the information I gave her, along with her intuition, to inform our bodywork session. The hour she spent working on me was transformational. I was left feeling lighter and yet more grounded. I was able to let go of and release so much of the emotional burden I had been carrying around. After our session I became more aware of my body and how different people and situations affected me physically. I HIGHLY recommend bodywork (and yoga) with Jillian.”
